What is etaline?
etaline (Emergency Transport Line) is a multi-modal transport platform connecting passengers with cars, planes, trains and boats — for everyday and emergency travel across Tanzania and beyond.
How do payments work?
You pay in advance and the money is held safely in escrow. It is released to the driver only after your trip, protecting both riders and drivers.
Can I cancel a booking?
Yes. Refunds follow a fair, time-based scale — the earlier you cancel before departure, the more you get back. Full details are in the app's Terms & Conditions.
How are drivers verified?
Every driver's NIDA (National ID), driving licence and vehicle roadworthiness certificate are checked before they can carry passengers.

etaline is launching in Tanzania and is built to expand across the region — choose your country in the app when planning a trip.
How do I become a driver?
Download the etaline Driver app, register your vehicle and submit your documents. Once approved, you can start publishing trips.
